How scoring works

Each situation has three answers, and each answer belongs to one of six styles. Every style shows up in exactly five of the ten situations, so none is favored by how often it's offered. Your result is the style you picked most. If styles tie, you get all of them. There are no percentages, because ten answers can't support them.

What this quiz can and can't tell you

It tells you which habits you think you lean on. That's a useful place to start, because most people can name the moment they struggle with. It can't tell you how you actually sound: people are often wrong about their own pace, fillers and how long their answers run.

To check, record yourself. The words per minute test and the filler word counter take a minute each. A practice call shows what happens when someone asks a follow-up.

Questions

Is this a personality test?

No. It's a quick way to name the habits you lean on when you speak. It isn't a validated psychological assessment, and it describes how you see yourself, not how you actually sound.

Which speaking style is best?

None of them. Each style has a real strength and a habit that shows up under pressure. Good speakers borrow from all six depending on the room.

Can my style change?

Yes. Most people answer differently for an interview than for a team meeting, and your habits shift as you practice. Take it again in a few weeks.

How long does it take?

About two minutes. Ten situations, three answers each.

Do you save my answers?

No. You don't sign up or give an email, and your answers aren't saved. We use analytics to see how people use the quiz and which results come up, without your name or email.
